Meet Cinthya
I'm the daughter of immigrant parents who believed deeply in the power of public education. Our schools helped shape who I am today as a first-generation college graduate and naturalized citizen.
I've spent 14 years in public education: nine years as a classroom teacher, three as an instructional coach, and two as a bilingual coordinator. I understand what happens in classrooms and how board decisions affect students, teachers, and families.
I'm also a single mom of two children in public school. The decisions this board makes are personal to me.
Why I'm Running
I believe strong schools require strong governance. Every child, regardless of background, language, or circumstance, deserves access to high-quality education in a district that respects families and listens to the community.
Fair policy. Decisions should be transparent, evidence-based, and centered on students.
Responsible resources. Taxpayer money must be used wisely and sustainably.
Every child seen. Regardless of language, background, or circumstance, every student deserves support.
Families respected. Your rights, faith traditions, and pursuit of happiness matter.
My Priorities
Clear oversight, fiscal responsibility, and thoughtful decision-making that serves students first.
High expectations and strong support for all learners, in every classroom and every program.
Decisions made not just for today, but with long-term impact and future generations in mind.
